Recommended Read: Nerd Do Well by Simon Pegg.

This book was so addictive. I know it sounds corny when people say “I couldn’t put it down” but I’m being 100% serious when I say I really couldn’t! I bought it in the UK saying to myself “Right I can read this on the flight back.” well… I did read some of it on the flight… Maybe the last few chapters… I kept telling myself “Ok, you’ve read enough for now, leave the rest for the plane.” but did I? Nope :)

Simon’s stories and adventures (both real and fictional) were so enticing and I even found myself relating to some things that he wrote about. Even his footnotes had me in hysterics - such as his hypocritical comment of “It’s not like I’m going to be starring in Mission Impossible III” and his tantrum that his childhood heartthrob Carrie Fisher isn’t following him on twitter but “she follows fucking Russell Brand!”

All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable read with hilarious stories & even a few touching moments that show you what a truly wonderful and inspirational man Simon Pegg is. Buy it, borrow it (but don’t steal it) - just get your hands on it one way or another. You won’t regret it.
